CareerOneStop Website at 2011 Tekne Awards

On November 4, Azul 7 had the privilege of attending the Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA) 2011 Tekne Awards. We were nominated for a Tekne Software Award as part of the Department of Education and Economic Development (DEED) mySkills myFuture website team.
The Tekne Awards honor Minnesota-based innovators in technology whose work helps educate and improve lifestyles not only locally, but across the globe. For mySkills myFuture, Azul 7 collaborated with DEED and several other partners to create a digital tool that helps unemployed individuals to build a bridge toward a new career. The tool allows people to easily research jobs that leverage existing skill sets, or find training to fill gaps in experience before pursuing new careers.
While our category was ultimately won by Imation for their work on the Defender Collection Software Suite, Azul 7 was honored to be nominated amongst such strong competition.
