Denny Royal Selected as Finalist for the Presidential Innovation Fellows Program

Earlier this summer, Denny Royal applied to the MyGov Presidential Innovation Fellows program. The project aims to create a team of innovators from all over the country to “reimagine the relationship between the federal governement and its citizens through an online footprint developed not just for the people, but by the people.”* Combining perspectives of design, cultural anthropology and government work experience, Denny applied for the fellowship with the intent of sharing human-centered design practices to help improve digital communications to solve some of the bigger problems facing the U.S. today.

Denny was one of only a handful of finalists selected out of over 1,000 applicants for the fellowship.
